Donghia, one of our favorite furniture, textiles, wallcovering, lighting and accessories vendors recently opened their new showroom in New York City’s Decoration & Design Building and thanks to Architectural Digest we are going to take a look inside!

When designing the different vignettes creative director Chuck Chewnig stated that, “It was important to honor Angelo Donghia’s vision, legacy, and history, but also critical to be modern and contemporary.” The late interior designer always favored sensual interiors with plump furniture, innovative textiles, and high-gloss painted walls, which is a true testament to the showroom’s design. The lifestyle vignettes on display feature various Donghia collections as well as products from its associated labels. And in addition to the seasonal vignettes the walls of the to-the-trade showroom feature vintage photographs of a few of Donghia’s glamorous clients such as Ralph Lauren, Liza Minnelli, Barbara Walters, and Woody Allen.
